Creating something worthy

This is all new territory for me.

Yeah, I’ve made gear before, had websites before, had a few photography jobs as well…

I have made major, scary moves over the past few weeks to make 2023 the best year for me personally, and for Alan Scherer Photographer the brand. It’s scary, and it’s not something I truly thought I would have the strength or courage to do.

I’ve written out goals, been daydreaming about it for years.

How do I set myself up to be not just a pro photographer, fine art print photographer, and businessman?

It comes down to taking a leap of faith, believing I have earned this, and deserve the opportunity to live a financially independent life. With the things in my past not having the kind of negative effect that they have had before.

I have the gear, I have taken the time to brush up my shooting and editing skills. The only thing left to do is to say to you: I would love to earn your business, gain your trust, and to surpass your expectations with the work we create together as well.

I hope you’ll give me the opportunity to capture your lasting memories this year.

Self taught event, sports, portrait, fine art, street photographer based in NH.

I picked up a Canon digital Rebel with a 50mm 1.8 f in 2010 and have been learning about light and shaping it everyday since then. It started as a form of therapy to battle Bipolar Disorder and Addiction, and it has become so much more. The opportunity to share my work and make it available to you has taken years of Soul searching, courage, and Self Confidence building. I hope you find a piece that speaks to you in this gallery.
